Working with Action For Children in Uganda to educate vulnerable children to grow into children of change in their communities.

hello from the jnfc family!

Since meeting Jolly Nyeko in 2006 we’ve been on a journey delivering hope and a better future for vulnerable children in Uganda.  The song Walk a Mile in My Shoes (Joe South, 1969) implores us to seek understanding before judging other people and their circumstances, and the Bible says in Matthew “When someone compels you to go with him one mile, go with him two”.   This is what we will continue to do: deliver hope and a better future one step at a time, hand in hand, following God’s leading.

introduction to what we do

At JNFC our Child Sponsorship Program and projects in support of the program is our major focus.  All of the children in the program are supported by Action For Children (AFC) social workers and they all attend the Jolly Children’s Education Centre in Masulita. Jolly Nyeko opened the school in 2006 and the attendance has grown every year to a current level of more than 300. The school started in a grass hut with 40 students and now is comprised of a preschool, Primary 1-7 with boarding available, and they recently started a  secondary facility with Senior 1 that will over time extend to Senior 5.  All this being said we have undertaken numerous projects at the school to support its grow since inception.  Here you can learn more about our Sponsorship program and all of the Projects (past, Current, and Future) that we have undertaken and planned throughout the years.  If you are led to assist the children please contact us for further information or donate. There is an ongoing need in the community where we work and every donation provides hope for the families that live and work there.
